One of the most important challenges was ensuring that all user conversations with the chatbot are secure and confidential. In the case of applications related to mental health support, protecting personal data and maintaining user privacy are critical. This required the use of advanced encryption methods and compliance with data protection regulations.
Recognizing signs of stress
The application had to be designed to effectively identify signs of stress or other emotional problems based on the user's language and tone of conversation. The challenge was to create AI algorithms that can recognize subtle signals in the conversation, suggesting that the user may need additional support.
Diversity of responses
The virtual assistant had to avoid the impression of automatism and provide responses that are varied and appropriately tailored to the context of the conversation. The challenge was to design a system that can generate responses that are not only correct but also sound natural and human-like, which helps build trust and comfort for users in conversation before their visit to the psychologist.
